The Black Forest

July 30th... Beginning the day in Baden Baden, I looked out my hotel room in the morning at the beautiful town.

After a morning stroll and some breakfast, we took off for a drive through the Black Forest.

We went to the Open Air Museum http://vogtsen.land-in-sicht.com/index.php

It is a very beautiful place.

Here I am playing in the kitchen. Cooking on the stove and making some butter.

I thought I should weigh myself incase I gained some weight from all the eating I have been doing.

I went to check out the carriage and get the pitchfork to muck out the stalls.

OMG!!! I guess I shouldn't have been playing by the saw!!!

We drove on to Staufen to find a hotel.

After all that excitement, it was time for bed!!!!

July 31st.... Black Forest and then on to Zurich

It was a beautiful day!

You can see the view from our room.

Once we got up and had breakfast we took a walk to the ruins.

All the way up to the ruins, there were many grapevines growing.

After we left Staufen, we went through the Black Forest again.

After the clock museum, we drove to Triberg.

Traveling from Canada to Germany

Because we were going to miss Bob's birthday, we celebrated early.

This is Bob and I with his birthday TimBit.

The next day we left for the airport. It was a 3 hour delay!!!

Luckily I could relax, listen to some music or watch a video.

Once we finally got on the plane, I realized that Business Class travel is the only way to go

After getting our rental car, we took off for Baden-Baden.

I found a dog for Bob, isn't she cute?

After our dinner, we took a walk and went to bed at 5 p.m. and slept until 3 a.m.

Clovis and Canada

I went to the barn and met Chili.

I got to ride Storm.

On the 26th we flew to Canada and hung out with Marilou.

I got a big kiss from Bob.

and I saw the Easter Frog again!!!!

Great Grandma Jo's Birthday

I spent Grandma Jo's birthday with the family.

Two more weeks and I will be in Canada!!!! I hope to see the Easter Frog again.

Back in London

HAPPY EASTER!

I got a visit from the Easter Frog!



After breakfast we headed off to the airport.



We arrived in London and just relaxed and chilled the rest of the day.



Well, tomorrow we are off on our way home!

A day in Ronda

Today was a fun day, Paul, Elizabeth and I took off in the car for Ronda.



Ronda is a beautiful city, with lots of old architecture. Here is me with Ronda in the background.



We visited Spain's oldest bull ring.



We saw the three bridges that Ronda is famous for, the new bridge, which is 300 years old, the old bridge is around 800 years old and the Roman bridge which is even older.

We also visited the baths in Ronda.



Well, up early again tomorrow for our flight to London.

Trip to Tangier

Today we got up real early again and took a bus trip to Tangiers. Here is Bob and Sue on the bus.


After a 45 minute ferry ride, we arrived in Tanger.



It was fun, we took a bus tour of the city, on the way back into town we stopped for camel rides.



This was our guide Hassan, he was really nice.



We had an authentic Moroccan lunch, it was really yummy. Then we did a little shopping and headed back for Spain.

Tomorrow we are going to take it easy and go to Ronda.
