A day in London

Today was a busy day, the first thing I got to do was ride the Underground






Next we took the Original Tour Bus around London. We got off to tour Westminister Abby.



After that we got back on the tour bus and got off at Trafalger Square. We needed to visit the London National Gallery so Taylor could see some works by Paolo Uccello who she wrote a report on. Next we walked through town, I saw Big Ben!

We wanted to go on the London Eye, but the line was WAY too long, so we decided to walk around instead.

After touring around London, we decided to go to Abbey Road Studios where I wrote my name on the wall.

Tomorrow we are off to Spain!

Long Flight . . . London!

We had a nice short hopper from Fresno to San Francisco then a 3 hour wait in San Francisco for our flight to London. Latte and I were having a good time looking out the window at the planes.

Our flight to London was almost 10 hours, everyone except Marilou had a nap. I bet she will sleep good tonight. There was several movies to choose from on the plane, I watched Happy Feet.

We arrived in London and had a nice long walk from the terminal to immigration where I got my first stamp in my passport. It is much colder in London that in Fresno and it was raining lightly.

After we finally go the rental car, we drove to the hotel. We only had to drive one extra time around the roundabout. After checking in we had some good British Fish & Chips and went back to the hotel ready for SLEEP. Tomorrow looks to be a good day and we will take the Original Tour Bus around town to see the sites!

Night night, I am off to sleep in my comfy bed!

Now comes the fun part, I get to pack all my stuff into a small suitcase, I hope I remember everything!

I have my passport and am ready to go!

In one week, I will be off to Europe, I am so excited! I hope you will follow my adventures!
